Today’s show is another that is not so retro. We further discussed the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3 and the future of Megaman. Chris reviewed a great DS game that any Mario or RPG fan can appreciate and is the closest we’ll get to a true Mario RPG sequel. For the topic we was joined by Sobaer for the great debate,”Is mobile gaming killing off handhelds?” Hope you guys enjoy the show and as always keep it retro!

Since Colin is still camping the guys from Blankshowcast joined me for some NES reviews. It’s always a good time when Tim and Boots are on the show and even better when we talk about NES games. We also talked about Crapcom….er Capcom and the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3. We had fun with this one and we hope you enjoy!

The show is a little on the long side and I do apologize for that, but it was fun and we had a lot of guests. Thank you all so much for listening all these years and supporting us!!

On today’s show we had with us Lord and Master of Vagary.tv, Ryan. He shared with us his adventures to the magical land E3. Colin and I decided to do a special E3 follow up show since in our last episode we had our own E3 predictions. Colin nailed it with his predictions of the Wii U control pad. Thank you all for listening and I hope you enjoy this special episode of Retrocore.

Today’s show includes the long talked about Final Fantasy III review (not VI) and our E3 predictions. As everyone knows E3 is just around the corner and even us here at Retrocore are excited. We share our thoughts on E3 and what we think is going to be revealed. Take a look at the links below as they include controller concept art for “Project Cafe” that we covered on the show. As always, enjoy!!

Disclaimer: This show was recorded Saturday Night 5/14/11 so information might seem dated. Also, I know I’ve already used the Double Dragon 3 commercial. Sorry about that.
Are you guys ready to hear the tale of the “Super Happy Tree?” How about some “Tron” if you will? Of course I’m talking about Yoshi’s Story for the N64 and a free app called Light Bike Free. Colin and I also wrapped up the topic about the PSN. You won’t hear anything else about it on this show unless its some big news. I hope you guys enjoy the topic as there’s some weird gaming stuff out there. I’ll share the links with you below.

This show did have a basic structure, and even a topic. But all was lost when we decided to talk about the whole PSN (Playstation Network) fiasco. I know we are a retro podcast, but that doesn’t mean we don’t play new games here and there, and we do keep up with current gaming news. The topic of “Fan Remakes” got pushed back to another time as we then started talking about Nintendo and their new console, among other small topics. We did however get the App of the Week in and a review so not all was lost.

As promised, we are still back and bring you a more structured show!! This show basically followed the same format as the last, with the App of the week, some reviews, and our topic of Arcades in the 80′s. It basically turned into Chris nostalging about the good ol’ days of Arcades cause as we all know, they are a joke today. ;(

Soooo, it’s been over a year now, and I’m sure most have lost faith but in yo face!!! We’re back!!
Today’s show was full of info and all over the place. Colin and I was excited to be back and couldn’t shut up. The show is still kinda under construction so bear with us. We’re working on new segments, and one of those made this show. That being “Retrocore’s App of the Week.” Of course we brought you some reviews and what would Retrocore be without a rant or two?
I apologize for the sound at times. I wasn’t aware of my mics power and it sometimes picked up Colin on my headphones. I also apologize for the length. Again we was excited to be casting again. I promise the next show will be more structured.

That’s correct!! We are back and with co-founder Colin. Long time listeners will remember who he is. Todays show was full of entertainment and info. We decided to bring back the topics at the end of the show which used to be a Retrocore staple. The topic covered in this show was graphics. Yes just a nice graphical discussion.
