Hurricane Sandy sucked Chris’s power away and so Jeff hosts again. Sean (of Tea Bag Radio) and Don (of Vagary.TV’s PR Manager) joins in to talk about Assassin’s Creed III, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Disney’s purchase of LucasFilm and Grand Theft Auto V .
2011 is behind us and we kick off 2012 by talking about the drunken exploits of one of our favorite podcast hosts and Jeff’s bad food decisions. We also talk about a handful of games, including NFL Blitz, Microsoft Flight Sim, Trine 2 and The Old Republic before recapping the news for the last three weeks.
It’s E3 week and the crew is getting together every day of the conference to talk about Gamer’s Christmas. This time they draft their friend Javi Rodriguez, the host of Game Over Nation, and talk about Day 0. They cover the Monday press conferences of Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony and while there is a lot of disappointment in the room but amidst all the grumbling they also like a lot of stuff.
The Perfectly Sane Show welcomes the new year with a massive new episode. Jeff cuts his finger, We talk some Alpha Protocol, Just Cause 2, and Little Big Planet 2 before catching up on some news and going extra long in the questions section where we discuss Fozzy the Game and learn about the “watering hole”.
Two shows in one week? Sure and welcome to our weekly deployment zone. Barring any issues we should have a new episode for you every Friday. This week, without everyone’s favorite non-royal Persian, we get into Mafia II, Lara Croft, NHL 11, Dexter, Scott Pilgrim as well as an assortment of news and (probably wrong) opinions including Bioshock: Infinite, the Star Wars trilogy on Blu Ray, Brett Favre, Warhammer 40K: Generic Title for a Game and Tony and Chris eat some crow based on their commentary that Mass Effect 2 would never come to the PS3 (damn you EA). So sit back, crank your speakers and enjoy.
