The Perfectly Sane Show Ep. 36: Frosty Paws

You know what is frozen, delicious and available in your grocery store’s frozen dog food section? Frosty Paws and Jeff thinks they are delicious despite certain Yahoo! users thinking that the treat contains cancer causing agents. Aside from talking about frozen dog food the crew gets into it about Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, some stuff Fozzy was playing, Alan Wake, Sonic Colors, The 3rd Birthday, Dungeon Siege and a little bit of Scream. In news they discuss GeoHotz and Sony’s settlement, initial sales of the 3DS and the reported rumor of the Wii 2, which spawns some heated discussion. And of course the close it all in the letters section where the guys tackle some in depth topics including storytelling in games and the difference between JRPGs and WRPGs.

The Perfectly Sane Show Ep. 35: Distractions

This week the crew is a bit disheveled and distracted but they manage to talk some Crysis 2, Full House Poker, Spider-Man, Little Big Planet 2, The 3rd Birthday, and Halo: The Fall of Reach as well as the week’s biggest gaming news items including the Anonymous shenanigans and EA making bold statements. On top of all that, the show goes extra long this week because the mail bag was overflowing with inquisitive goodness.

The Perfectly Sane Show Ep. 24: Persian Breeze

This week the crew gets heavy into Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, Little Big Planet 2 and Dead Space 2 during the first segment. In the second half of the show they try something new and each bring up a discussion topic which include irresponsible marketing, consumer responsibility to support new IPs, portable gaming, and the digital future.

The Perfectly Sane Show Ep. 23: Collector’s Item

Fozzy was missing in action for most of the week, fortunately he escaped from his captors and was able to sit down and do the show with us. This week we talk a little bit about Little Big Planet 2 but mostly focus on news including the 3DS details, Microsoft and Sony security, and “The Dark Knight Rises” casting reveals before answering a handful of questions about Final Fantasy XIII-2.

In an effort to help with some potential download problems Chris tried something different with the compression this week, let us know if you have any DL issues or if the show sounds a bit off this week.

The Perfectly Sane Show – Episode 11

I’m trying to get the show on a more regular schedule and I view this Episode as the new beginning towards that. In this episode we (myself, Reid and special guest Tommy_Arashikage) talk about the latest “big” Sony release, Heavy Rain. We discuss what we like and dislike about the game remaining relatively spoiler free and we also touch on the implications that the success or failure this game may or may not have across the industry.

Music in this episode:

Rain – The Cult
Rainmaker – Iron Maiden
