The Perfectly Sane Show Volume 2 – Episode 4: It Went Back In

This week we discover the fact that Tony is superhuman when it comes to Mario games. We also discuss our experiences with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex Edition, Killzone 2, G.I. Joe, Mass Effect 2 DLC, Metroid: Other M, The Runaways, Vanquish, NHL 11, and Machete. In news, Fozzy and Tony go in depth on the problems with college football and the whole group discusses rainbows and unicorns as well as trying to prestige in Modern Warfare 2 without killing anyone. The guys give their NFL picks of the week and we wrap it all up with Fozzy on a desert island playing Mass Effect 2 while everyone else is playing Halo 3 multiplayer and enjoying socialization. And if you haven’t been listening to the entire final song, you might want to do so this week. Just saying :) On second thought, you might not want to…

The Perfectly Sane Show Volume 2 Episode 3: Split Personality Disorder

In this week’s show the crew (minus Fozzy) take an uncharacteristically serious approach to the first segment while going over Metroid: Other M, Dead Rising: Case Zero, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Green Zone, and The Last Exorcism. In the second segment though the guys fall off the wagon and have a hard time playing it straight while going over the topic of the week, Games We Thought of and Want Made. Seriously, you try and keep a straight face while discussing Gran Turismo: Pokemon, MotorStorm: Kill the Kinectamals, Maximum Pain: Heavy Rain Edition, Left 4 Dead: Amish Edition and Tournament of Legends. The Perfectly Sane Show Volume 2 – Episode 2: Science Project

Every new show has its ups and downs and this week the crew has a bevy of issues from weird sounds, Fozzy trying to electrocute himself, and some editing issues Chris would rather not discuss anymore. They also manage to talk about Bayonetta, mold, Deadly Premonition, Lara Croft, Piranha 3D, Cop Out, Shank, Scott Pilgrim: The Game before heading into an awkward news segment where Tony and Fozzy literally stop paying attention as Jeff and Chris discuss The Walking Dead. The main topic of the show though is our most anticipated games of Holiday 2010, which oddly enough starts next week. We cover everything from Halo: Reach (the resounding consensus for most anticipated game) as well as talk a bit about Fallout: New Vegas, The Sims 3, Epic Mickey and a couple shooters from the two biggest publishers going.

Halo clip mentioned in show is available here.

Would you like to have a new segment called Fozzy Goes to Time Out?

Anticipation

This year has been a bit of an oddity, what with high quality games being delivered throughout the year. The last few weeks have actually seen me not purchase much of anything new (aside from the downloadable Lara Croft game) but the slight drought is about to end. For some the Holiday gaming season officially will kick off next week with the release of Metroid: Other M but for a large sum of us the real kick off will be when Microsoft sets loose its 5-ton gorilla, Halo: Reach. Regardless of where you stand on the Halo anticipation scale, it is hard to deny that from September 14th to mid November some of the biggest games of the year will be releasing.

The Perfectly Sane crew is set to talk about what we are looking forward to (and why) but I want to know what you guys are looking forward to. So leave some comments down below and let me know what you are looking forward to and why and I will read some of them on during the recording tomorrow.
