The Perfectly Sane Show – Episode 14: Shipping Up to Boston

We’re on our way to PAX. OK so we are already here and the show ends today but this is what we talked about on our way there. I am joined by Resume Play’s Chris Reid, and Derrick Bitner better known as VirginWolf. The audio might suck, we were in my car on a portable voice recorder I bought for $35 at Walmart but the three of us are in the car crossing the Connecticut River, Oregon Trail style and we talk about games too.

Music in this episode:

I’m Shipping Up to Boston – Dropkick Murphys
Start of Something – Stone Gods

The Perfectly Sane Show – Episode 13

The number 13 holds great significance for me. It is the number of my favorite football player of all time. It is the number I wore when I played soccer, hockey and baseball. It is the day when Jason comes out to kill all the promiscuous pot heads who are hanging out in his campground. And it is also the number of the latest iteration of the longstanding, and insanely popular Final Fantasy series. For this show, I am joined by Resume Play’s Chris Reid, and Tony Odett better known as Napoleon1066. The three of us sit around for an hour discussing our history with the series, JRPGs in general, and the behemoth release known as Final Fantasy XIII. We also answer some questions that might leave you scratching your head.

Music in this episode:

Battle Scene (FINAL FANTASY I) – The Black Mages
Matoya’s Cave (FINAL FANTASY I) – The Black Mages

The Perfectly Sane Show – Episode 12: The Cop Out

Yeah so… Reid fell asleep when we were supposed to record and I was left with the option of doing a short a sweet show by myself or using some pre-recorded audio of Reid and I discussing the new Kevin Smith film, Cop Out immediately after leaving the theater. As the name implies, I copped out. The audio is a little janky (because it was recorded on my phone) but it gets the general point across. You can read my review of the film here, Reid says he is going to write a review. I’ll believe that when I see it.

Special Thanks to Trevor McKee and Steve Gomboc for proving the music used for the intro and outro this week.
