The Multiverse is a weekly podcast begun in November of 2009. Every episode, we talk about hot topics effecting the MMORPG community. We like to have fun on the show, so tune in if you’re looking for a little light-hearted gaming conversation. If you’re interested in joining us, or sending in a message, feel free to email us at multiversepodcast@gmail.com.

Our regular hosts are:

Chris of Game By Night: Chris has been an MMO player for the last four years and was deeply involved with their predecessors, MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons). During season one, Chris wrote and edited the show; however, Ferrel took over the reins at the start of the second season, allowing Chris to kick back and focus on content. He was formerly the host of the popular Rift Watchers podcast and is the a manager-of-many-hats for the Vagary TV network, as well as a regular contributor. His current game of choice is RIFT where he plays with the wonderful guild, Immortal Council, on the Sunrest RP-PVP server.

Adam “Ferrel” Trzonkowski of Epic Slant: Adam has been deeply involved in the MMO scene since the days of Everquest 1 and earlier. A veteren raider, guild leader, and most recently author, Adam has seen it all. Never shy about sharing his opinion, Adam calls it as he sees it and brings his many years of experience at the forefront of MMORPG gaming to bear. He is the author of the Guild Leader’s Companion and the owner of Epic Slant Press, and has spoken on the topic of guild management publically at Dragon*Con in 2010. Adam also currently writes for Guild Portal, one of the leading providers of guild website hosting services on the internet.

Expanded background:
The Multiverse was started with one goal in mind: to talk about the things the MMO community spends so much time reading and writing about. It’s goal is to be friendly, funny, and upbeat even when the hosts disagree or bring the bad. For the most part, however, Chris and Adam keep things rolling with many laughs and much camaraderie, often featuring a revolving panel of guests who share their approach to the genre. They disagree with the doom-and-gloom approach to gaming but keep it real. When something impresses them, they say so, and if it’s marketing hype, well, they say that too. In the end, it comes down to two (and more) friends coming together to talk about a hobby they love. That’s what drives the Multiverse and what will keep it running through the future.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. We hope you enjoy the show.
