Today’s show had two different parts. For the first part Colin and Vivi joined me for a review of Abobo’s Big Adventure the ultimate tribute to everything that is the NES. Due to Colin’s internet not “behaving” he had to leave. Then for the second half of the show, I had Chris Vint on of Retroshock Podcast and Boots on of BlankShowCast for a great discussion on the Resident Evil series. We had a blast with this episode and we hope you enjoy. Keep it retro!!

Don AKA Sobaer finally reunited with us and boy did we have one heck of a fun show!! He joined Chris on a review of the new NFL Blitz available on the PS3 and the 360. The game is fantastic and really takes us back to the late 90′s. Afterwards we went on in classic Retrocore style and reviewed some retro games! I hope you all enjoy and as always, keep it retro!

Everyone please welcome to the show Donald Cole! He has officially joined the Retrocore crew and will be the third co host. On his debut he gave us a review of Mole Mania for the Game Boy. Chris talked about a not so great port of Mega Man X for iOS and we took your questions from Twitter. We have a lot planned for the new year, we are just getting started!!

I know on the air I said this was episode 58 but it’s not. It’s 59. Colin, Boots, and I got together to talk some Zelda for our last podcast of the year. Yes this time Boots stayed awake and we discussed Zelda games both old and new. We decided to take the show out with some of our Christmas memories and even some from you guys. I decided to have a Final Fantasy discussion so I thought what better way than to have Tim and Boots on from Blankshowcast! For the most part we all share the same interests in the series and have a great knowledge of them as well. This show was a ton of fun to do, and I hope to have the guys on again in the future! It’s that time of the month for some retro talk in your ear holes! What would Retrocore be without random, unscripted, video game talk? This episode is full of just that. From the failed Apple Pippin to the modern iPads and iPhones, we discuss it all! Even Chris’s journey to updating to iOS 5. Don’t fret none as we did review some classic retro games. Today’s show was a little bit different from our other shows. On Side A we just went right on into reviews as usual, but Side B was new to our show. I took various unreleased clips from random shows and played some of them. Some are actual good informative clips while others lean towards the more humorous side. On today’s first half of the show (Side A) we had Dan a fan of Retrocore on to help Chris review and discuss the first Megaman Legends. We also discussed the future of Megaman and Capcom as well. For the second half of the show (Side B) Colin and I went about our usual antics and reviewed some games, including an “App of the Week.” We may have also rambled on about Square-Enix’s reveal of Dragon Quest X.
