If you ever been on the fence about the Elder Scrolls series and were hoping to see a demo of The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim, you’re out of luck, my friend. In a video interview with Gameplanet, Bethesda’s Craig Lafferty stated that there wouldn’t be a demo for Skyrim.
“A game of this size and complexity, it’s really hard to do a demo that represents the demo. The demo would have to be giant. So we won’t be doing the demo.”
For a robust and open world series, it makes sense that providing a proper demo would be a bit more than tricky. This is fairly typical of RPGs. Though, 2009’s Mass Effect did have a demo at some point. Do you guys still want some kind of demo or have you already made the decision to buy the game without a test taste?
