What to Watch – February 8th Edition

After a string of middling action fare the box office is spiced up a bit of comedy and a bit of suspenseful drama. Jason Bateman stars as Sandy Patterson, the victim of identity theft, in wait for it… Identity Thief. Early word has not been kind to the comedy though, currently residing at a 26% on Rotten Tomatoes. Look for our review early next week. On the more serious side of things is the latest Steven Soderburgh thriller, Side Effects. Boasting a star studded cast led by Channing Tatum and Jude Law, this thriller about the side effects from a prescription anxiety pill looks to be the best thing running.

Blu-Ray releases also see some variety this week, with the critically acclaimed Skyfall leading the way. If you have yet to see Skyfall and have any interest in James Bond, it is a must see. Not so must see, but worth a watch as well are The Man With the Iron Fist and Silent Hill: Revelations. Neither will light your world on fire but both are enjoyable popcorn flicks.

And finally The Walking Dead returns from its winter hiatus, hopefully to answer the fates of Daryl and Merle. New episodes of Once Upon a Time, Arrow, Elementarty and The Following are also out there for your viewing pleasure as well.

What are you watching this week?
