Have you seen Batman yet? If not, now would probably be a good time to go see it. If you have theaters finally have some stuff to watch in them again. Last week Colin Farrell did his best Arnold impersonation in the remake of Total Recall. It was received mildly and we’ll be checking it out here at some point in the near future.
This week though has Matt Damon’s legacy being carried on by Jeremy Renner (The Avengers, Mission: Impossiblie: Ghost Protocol) and Jay Roach (Austin Powers, Meet the Parents) returns to the director’s chair for the first time since his mediocre, Dinner for Schmucks. Renner stars as Aaron Cross in the Bourne Legacy (review coming later today). Legacy runs concurrent to the last Matt Damon Bourne film, Ultimatum, and has some cross over but fans of the last two Bourne films may not be happy with the direction the series goes with Legacy. Roach on the other hand brings The Campaign starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. The political comedy has a star-studded cast and could be a solid alternative to the non-stop action in the rest of the theaters.
What are you seeing this weekend?
