Latest Humble Bundle breaks $5 million

Humble Indie Bundle V is a smashing success, shattering previous bundle records by over double their amount closing at just over $5 million US.

Nearly 600,000 bundles were sold, averaging $8.53 US per sale. All proceeds are going towards select charities, developers and the Humble Bundle website people themselves.

It’s not too difficult to see why the newest bundle brought home the bacon when it features titles like Super Meat Boy, Bastion, Limbo and Braid; some of the most praise lauded indie titles in the industry being sold DRM free.

With the huge success of the most recent bundle it will be interesting to see how HumbleBundle.com might try to outdo themselves the next time another deal rolls along.
