Wii Fit was a humongous success for Nintendo, so it came as no surprise at Nintendo’s press conference today that it would be making the transition to the Wii U, in the form of Wii Fit U. The big difference in Wii Fit U is the addition of the table controller which adds some interesting functionality to the fitness title. Users will be able to select events using the tablet as well as using it as a prop, like a squirt gun. Those uses are minor though when compared to being able to utilize the “game” even when someone else is using the television. Transferring Wii Fit U to the tablet screen allows workouts to continue no matter what is going on elsewhere. Now I just need to dig out my balance board.
