We’ve known developer Obsidian has been working on a South Park RPG for quite some time but considering the turmoil at publisher THQ and Obsidian’s less than stellar track record, it was a mystery as to if we would ever see the game. Yesterday we finally got a glimpse of what fans can expect with a teaser trailer at the Microsoft press conference. Players will create their own hero to adventure in South Park and will team up with the likes of Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny on an epic adventure. Series creators, Matt and Trey, are working closely with Obsidian on the title and it looks just as one would want a South Park game to look and the crass humor is most certainly in place. While there are certainly more questions to be answered the game looks to be moving along nicely and hopefully we will get our hands on it soon.
