Forza Motorsport is one of the most revered simulation racing series on the market. Being a simulation though can turn potential players away. Microsoft snagged those more casual racing fans with their Project Gotham Racing series but that series has been dormant for quite some time now. Instead of reviving PGR, Microsoft has decided to latch on to the Forza name and bring fans Forza Horizon. The game, being developed by ex-Bizarre Creations employees and overseen by Turn 10, will be an open-world racing title, like Burnout Paradise. If you have love cars but Forza scares you off, Horizon may be just the game for you. Horizon will face some stiff competition as EA’s latest Need for Speed seems to capture the same vibe and the games come out only a week apart.
