EA: They’re out and they’re proud

Electronic Arts has embraced the LGBT community by declaring that June is pride month at the company HQ.

EA says they will also join the march at two Pride Parades in Seattle and San Francisco on June 24 according to a blog post by EA staff.

The publishing company is inviting people to celebrate with the company by allowing them to RSVP to walk with the company in the pride parades.

This isn’t the first time EA has stood beside the LGBT crowd. EA was targetted by a massive letter writing campaign in protest over including homosexual relationships in Mass Effect 3. Largely written by religious “family values” group, the letters pointed a finger at EA for supposedly subjecting children to exposure to homosexual relationships despite the game’s mature rating.

Despite the pressure, EA was steadfast in supporting their “Gaymer” community
