PlayStation Vita Receives a Release Date for North America and Europe

At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Jack Tretton, President of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, announced the released date of the PlayStation Vita. On February 22, 2012, the Vita will be available in North America and Europe.

The PlayStation Vita boosts a front and rear touchpanel, dual analog sticks, a 5-inch OLED screen and dual cameras all for the good price of $249 for the wi-fi only version and $299 for the 3G version. Jack claims that more than 100 games are currently in development including titles such as Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted Golden Abyss, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
