Dead Nation DLC “Road to Devastation” Announced

Announced this morning on the Playstation Blog, Housemarque is set to release an expansion to its twin-stick shooter, Dead Nation.

While no release date or price has been given, we do know a few things about the DLC. “Road to Devastation” takes place after the events of the main game and has you waking in a laboratory. You’ll pick between three roads, each taking you to a different enviroment with its own unique enemies. You’ll not only be facing new enemies, but also have new weapons as part of the new content.

Dead Nation was offered as one of the free games to pick with the “Welcome Back” program, so it’s no doubt Housemarque is cashing in on the influx of players by giving them new content. If you bought the game, are you ready to jump back into the action? If you picked it up for free, are you willing to pay for more Dead Nation action? Let us know in the comments below.

I got Dead Nation via PSN gameshare and loved it despite the game being dark as hell on shitty TVs (solution: buy a good TV/monitor). I’ll definitely pony up for another reason to grab a buddy and a six pack to kill zombies. Housemarque does some solid work.
