Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Dated, August 30/31

After a generally-positive reaction from consumers to Mortal Kombat, Warner Bros. is ready to unleash the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to the masses. The collection of games includes the original arcade ports of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, but updated with online play, leaderboards, and, of course, achievements/trophies.

The trilogy will set you back $9.99 on the Playstation Network and PC, or 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox Live Arcade. It will be available on August 30 for PSN users, and the following day, August 31, for XBLA and PC.

With online-enabled versions of classic Capcom franchises Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom games released, what do you think of the classic, gory Mortal Kombat games released and bundled together for $10? Let us know in the comments below.
