Today 2K Games and Gearbox Software announced their sequel to the co-op open-word FPS Borderlands, Borderlands 2. It will feature all-new characters along with a new sets of skills, new weapons and equipment as well. There will also be plenty of new environments populated by smarter and stronger enemies. The game is currently slated to release in the 2013 fiscal year which starts from April 1, 2012 and ends March, 31 2013.
For those of you looking for more information, Game Informer will have a twelve page feature in the September edition of their magazine as well as additional coverage throughout the month of August and September on their website. Borderlands 2 is also making an appearance at Gamescom and PAX Prime, which Vagary.TV will have a presence at both.
