Nexon’s newest MMO, Dragon Nest, a beautiful anime-style action oriented hub-based dungeon crawler, has entered Open Beta. Players will be able to pick from four different classes and traverse through multiple dungeons with friends while completing quests and defeating bosses.
People who participate in the Open Beta can look forward to class specializations, the Empowerment System that grants bonus experience points, the crafting system where players can craft and enhance items, the NPC Friendship System that allows players to befriend NPCs by giving them items in return for good information or discounts.
Throughout the beta, players will be able to participate in various events such as the ‘Comrades-in-Arms’ event where players who band together and clear dungeons will earn extra experience points. On the first weekend of beta there an ‘Charge!’ event where players who log on during that time will be granted addition Empowerment Points, which can be redeemed for bonus experience points.
To participate in all of this you need to head to the Dragon Nest main page and create an account and download the game client. The open beta will run from July 26 through August 9, 2011.
